Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using Kachu to create catchups, invite people, share content, and keep memories.

Using Kachu

Kachu lets people create and join catchups, share posts, photos, comments, announcements, and updates, and keep event memories. You are responsible for your account and for the content you add.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your device and account access secure.
  • You may not use another person's account without permission.
  • We may suspend or remove access if we believe an account is unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, or violates these terms.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of content you create or upload.
  • You give Kachu permission to host, store, display, process, transmit, and adapt your content to operate the app.
  • You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload photos, posts, comments, names, locations, and other content.
  • You should not upload private, harmful, illegal, or sensitive content without permission from the people affected.

Rules

  • Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, spam, or abuse other people.
  • Do not upload hateful, violent, sexual exploitation, illegal, or non-consensual content.
  • Do not try to bypass security, scrape data, disrupt the service, or misuse invite links.
  • Do not use Kachu to coordinate illegal activity or harm.

Shared catchups

Catchups are social spaces. People in a catchup may see content shared there. Kachu cannot control what other users do outside the app with content they can access, so share thoughtfully.

Reports and moderation

To report content, users, safety issues, or abuse, contact support@kachu.app. We may remove content, restrict accounts, preserve information for safety, or contact authorities where appropriate.

No guarantee

Kachu is provided as available. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or that content will never be lost.

Changes and termination

We may change Kachu or these terms over time. You may stop using Kachu at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if needed for safety, security, legal, or operational reasons.
